WARRANTY POLICY

Dalton Audio Inc will take the following measures to resolve problems with your product:

If your product has a warranty defect, Dalton Audio Inc has the right to choose from the following options:

  • Free/charged product repair: Use new or refurbished replacement parts according to “Warranty Policy”.
  • Replace the product with a new one: Ensure the product has at least equivalent functionality, according to the “Replacement Policy”.
  • Refund of purchase amount: According to “Return and Refund Policy”.

All replaced or refunded parts or products will become the property of Dalton Audio Inc. By submitting any product for warranty, you represent and warrant to Dalton Audio Inc that you are the sole owner of such product and that it is not subject to any lien or other liability constraint.

1. Who is covered by the warranty?

This warranty only applies to customers who have purchased Dalton products and activated the electronic warranty according to the instructions in the Warranty Certificate accompanying the product or at www.dalton-audio.com. It is non-transferable. Any attempt to transfer this warranty shall immediately render it void.

This warranty applies only to Dalton Audio Inc products sold on the website www.dalton-audio.com, purchased from authorized dealers in the United States. It does not apply to products purchased or shipped elsewhere. If you purchased this product outside the United States, contact your local Dalton distributor for warranty information.

2. Product warranty period

The product is warranted for 12 months from the date of purchase. Purchase date is based on the date of invoice or electronic warranty activation information.

Note: The internal battery or battery inside the product is warranted for 6 months from the date of purchase.

3. Product warranty conditions

  • The product is still within the warranty period.
  • Product malfunction due to component or manufacturing error.
  • Lithium batteries are only warranted if completely dead, completely discharged or deformed due to product defect.

4. Warranty exclusions

The product has exceeded the warranty period or the Warranty stamp is no longer intact. Product is damaged or lost due to:

  • Accidents (including force majeure or natural disasters), misuse, abuse, neglect, or product modification; The product is broken, scratched, damaged due to moisture, water intrusion, fire, flood, lightning strike, etc.
  • Failure to follow instructions in the owner’s manual, including failure to perform regular or recommended maintenance or improper maintenance.
  • The product has been altered, modified or repaired by a third party not authorized by Dalton.
  • Any commercial or industrial use that causes damage; to the decorative surface of this product; to any data, software or information.
  • The product is used for purposes other than those intended or covered by any insurance policy.

5. Limitations

Dalton disclaims responsibility for any direct or indirect damages resulting from failure to follow the steps described in the instructions for use, in particular those related to the installation, use and maintenance of the product.

The following are also excluded from this warranty:

  • The claim is based on any misrepresentation by the seller.
  • If the serial number of this product is changed or deleted.
  • Damage to component parts subject to wear and tear during use (batteries, foam pads, accessories).
  • Any installation, removal or reinstallation; any standard settings; performance variations due to program source quality or AC power fluctuations.

Dalton Audio Inc reserves the right to change the design or upgrade any product without notice and has no obligation to make any changes or upgrades to any product previously sold or manufactured.

6. Warranty expiration

After the 12-month warranty period, repair costs will be calculated according to the price list of the Authorized Warranty Service System.

7. Expenses

  • All shipping costs associated with shipping products from the customer to Dalton are the customer’s responsibility.
  • In addition, customers may incur additional costs associated with handling and disposal.

8. Important notes

  • For products that are denied warranty, the authorized service center will charge a repair fee based on the condition and extent of damage of the product.
  • No warranty for Bass, Mid, Treble speakers that are burned or broken due to excessive use. The warranty only covers cases where the speaker is clogged, distorted, or produces unclear sound.
  • There is no warranty for Microphone damage due to breakage or water leakage affecting the battery.
